I decided to create this blog to capture the journey to my Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration. I wanted to focus on something I could to do in support of social change in my part of the world. I've chosen to examine toxic waste and its impacts to three industrial communities located in the American Bottoms area across from St. Louis--Sauget, East St. Louis, and Cahokia, IL.
This Blog will allow me to share the knowledge and skills I intend to gain during the journey.
